of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification, Removes Entries 10 and 11 Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 25/2007-Customs, amending Notification No. 100/89-Customs dated March 1, 1989. Exercising powers under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, the Central Government has decided to omit entries at Serial Numbers 10 and 11 from the original notification. This amendment is deemed necessary in the public interest and will be published in the Gazette of India. The principal notification was previously amended on October 17, 2000.
