of <h1>India Rescinds Special Economic Zones Rules, 2003 via Notification No. 13/2007-Customs (N.T.) for Public Interest</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 13/2007-Customs (N.T.), dated 21st February 2007, to rescind the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2003. This rescission is executed under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The original rules were notified on 22nd July 2003. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted under the rules before this notification.
