<h1>Amendment to Excise Rules: Excisable Goods Can Move Duty-Free Between Warehouses; New Locations Added</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 266/67-Central Excise, dated November 28, 1967, under sub-rule (2) of rule 49 and rule 139 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. The amendment allows for the removal of excisable goods without payment of duty from one warehouse to another. Specifically, new locations have been added to the list in paragraph 2, clause (i) of the notification, including Inamkulathur Village in Trichy Taluk, Tamil Nadu, and Lattakujan in District Golaghat, Assam.
