of <h1>Central Excise Rules Amendment: New Forms for Registration and Certificate Introduced, Effective November 1, 2001, Under Rule 9.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 35/2001-Central Excise (N.T.) under Rule 9 of the Central Excise (No. 2) Rules, 2001. The amendment involves substituting Annexure-I with new forms: 'Annexure I FORM A-I' for requesting Central Excise registration and 'Annexure - II FORM RC' for the Central Excise Registration Certificate. These changes will take effect on November 1, 2001.
