of <h1>Customs Act Update: Tariff Rates Amended with New Entries and Adjustments to Existing Rates</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 21/2002-Customs dated March 1, 2002, in the public interest. The amendments include changes to the tariff rates in the notification's table: for S.No. 34, the rate is changed to 60%; new entries 36A and 36B with rates of 65% and 75% are added; and for S.No. 434, the rate is changed to 67.5%. These changes were published in Notification No. 8/2007-Customs on January 24, 2007, following a previous amendment on January 22, 2007.
