of <h1>Amendments to Customs Notification No. 26/2000 Include New Goods in Lists 2 & 3, Effective January 5, 2007.</h1> The Central Government has issued amendments to Notification No. 26/2000-Customs, originally dated March 1, 2000, under the Customs Act, 1962. These amendments, effective from January 5, 2007, involve changes in the notification's Table, specifically in List 5, clause 1(a). The revised clause now includes goods listed in Lists 2 and 3, as well as those in Notifications No. 60/2000-Customs and No. 2/2007-Customs. This amendment is made in the public interest and follows previous modifications published on December 30, 2006.
