of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 68/2006: Changes to Textile Tariffs and Entries Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective January 2007.</h1> Notification No. 141/2006-Customs amends Notification No. 68/2006 dated June 30, 2006, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments include the omission of certain serial numbers and entries, insertion of new entries for specific textile materials, and substitution of entries for others. Notably, changes affect tariffs on 3-thread or 4-thread twill fabrics, both upholstery and non-upholstery, with specified rates per square meter. Additional modifications involve changes to entries related to man-made textile materials, wool, fine animal hair, and cotton goods. These amendments take effect from January 1, 2007.
