of <h1>Customs Act Update: Tariff Values Amended for Edible Oils and Brass Scrap as of September 2006 Notification.</h1> The notification dated 2nd September 2006, issued by the Board under the Customs Act, 1962, amends the tariff values for certain goods as per the Ministry of Finance's prior notification. The updated tariff values per metric tonne are specified for various edible oils and brass scrap. The values for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, other Palm Oils, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, and other Palmolein remain unchanged. The tariff value for Crude Soyabean Oil is set at $579, and for Brass Scrap (all grades) at $4456. This amendment follows the last update on 14th August 2006.
