Commissioner of Customs at Tughlakabad appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for 2006 Show Cause Notice under Customs Act, 1962.

The Central Board of Excise and Customs, under the Customs Act, 1962, has appointed the Commissioner of Customs at the Inland Container Depot in Tughlakabad, New Delhi, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment authorizes the Commissioner to exercise powers and fulfill duties of the Commissioner of Customs (Imports) at Jawahar Customs House, Nhava Sheva, and the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import) at New Custom House, Mumbai. This is for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a travel company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on May 31, 2006.
