of <h1>Karanja Coastal Port Designated for Explosives Loading/Unloading Under Section 7 of Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs, using its authority under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended a previous notification to designate Karanja Coastal Port as a notified port for the loading and unloading of explosives. This amendment is part of Notification No. 86/2006 - Customs (N.T.), dated 8th August 2006, and modifies the original notification No. 62/94 (NT) from 21st November 1994. The addition of Karanja Port is listed as item number 15 in the relevant table, following item number 14.
