of <h1>Government Updates Customs Tariff: New Drawback Rates for Cotton Bags, Leather Caps, and Combs Under 1995 Rules</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 36/2005-Customs (N.T.) concerning the All Industry Rate of drawback for the fiscal year 2005-06. Effective from May 5, 2005, the amendments include the insertion of new tariff items and entries in the Schedule. In Chapter 42, a new item for cotton handbags and shopping bags is added. Chapter 65 now includes an entry for leather caps under headgear. Chapter 96 revises the tariff items for combs and related products, specifying different rates for combs made of polypropylene and others. These changes are pursuant to the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1995.
