of <h1>Amendment to Baggage Rules, 1998: 'Chakan-da-bagh' added under section 79 of the Customs Act, effective June 30, 2006.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 76/2006 - Customs (N.T), amending the Baggage Rules, 1998, under the authority of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from June 30, 2006, the amendment adds 'Chakan-da-bagh' in Poonch District to Annexure IV of the Baggage Rules. The principal rules were initially published in June 1998 and last amended in April 2005.
