of <h1>Customs Act Update: Amended Rules Allow Specific Import/Export Operations in Bangalore and Baggage Handling in Mangalore.</h1> The notification amends the earlier notification S.O. 828 (E) from November 21, 1994, under the Customs Act, 1962. The Central Board of Excise and Customs has updated the entries in the table related to serial No. 8. The changes specify that in Bangalore, the unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods, or any class of such goods, is allowed. In Mangalore, the unloading and loading of baggage are permitted. This amendment is part of Notification No. 50/2006-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated May 3, 2006.
