of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: New Rules for Unloading Imported and Loading Exported Goods under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.), originally issued on April 2, 1997. This amendment, effective March 31, 2006, modifies the entry in the table under serial number 5, column (3), item (i), replacing the previous entry in column (4) with 'Unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods.' This change is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and follows a previous amendment made on February 17, 2006.
