of <h1>New Customs Notification Sets April 2006 Exchange Rates for Exported Goods: USD at 44.45 INR, Euro at 53.45 INR</h1> The notification issued on March 28, 2006, by the Board under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian rupees for exported goods, effective from April 1, 2006. It supersedes the previous notification from February 23, 2006. The rates are specified in two schedules: Schedule I lists the exchange rate per unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 44.45 INR and the Euro at 53.45 INR, while Schedule II provides the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 38.00 INR.
