of <h1>Joint Commissioner of Customs Appointed for Adjudication in Picks Medical Case under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Joint Commissioner of Customs (Imports) at the Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai, to act in multiple capacities, including roles at the New Customs House and Jawahar Customs House, for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice. This notice pertains to M/s Picks Medical Systems Limited and others, issued by the Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, on June 6, 2005. This appointment is in accordance with the powers granted under the Customs Act, 1962, as outlined in Notification No. 34/2006-Customs (N.T.) dated March 27, 2006.
