of <h1>Customs Notification 64/94 Amended: Second Proviso Omitted Under Section 7(d) of Customs Act 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 64/94 (N.T.)-Customs, originally issued on November 21, 1994. This amendment, effective March 22, 2006, involves the omission of the second proviso in the original notification. The amendment is made under the authority granted by clause (d) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. The principal notification was previously amended by Notification No. 41/98-Customs (N.T.) on June 24, 1998.
