of <h1>New Commissioner Appointed for Customs and Central Excise in Mumbai to Adjudicate Show Cause Notice Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Central Excise, Thane II Commissionerate, Mumbai, to serve as the Commissioner of Customs (Export) at the Air Cargo Complex in Mumbai and as the Commissioner of Central Excise, Thane I Commissionerate. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit. The notification is issued under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, and the Central Excise Rules, 2002.
