of <h1>Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad, appointed for adjudication under Section 4(1) of Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad, to serve as the Commissioner of Customs for Kandla, Cochin, Chennai, and Jamnagar. This appointment is for the adjudication of matters related to a specific show cause notice issued to M/s M.K. Industries and others. The notice, dated September 14, 2005, was issued by the Additional Director General of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad. This action is taken under the authority of section 4(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, as per Notification No. 22/2006-Customs (N.T.) dated February 28, 2006.
