of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Export Transactions Under Customs Act 1962 Effective March 1, 2006</h1> The notification issued by the Board under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian rupees for exported goods, effective March 1, 2006. It supersedes a previous notification from January 25, 2006. Schedule I lists the exchange rates for one unit of various foreign currencies, including the Australian Dollar at 32.55 INR and the US Dollar at 44.30 INR. Schedule II specifies the rate for 100 units of Japanese Yen at 37.30 INR. These rates are applicable for customs purposes related to export transactions.
