of <h1>Customs Act Section 7 Amended: New Provision for Crew Baggage Handling Added to Panaji Port Notification.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 62/94-Customs (N.T.) dated 21st November 1994, through Notification No. 4/2006-Customs (N.T.) dated 17th January 2006. This amendment, made under the authority of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, involves the addition of a provision in the existing notification. Specifically, it adds the item 'Loading and unloading of crew baggage' under serial number 4, column (4), after item (b) related to Panaji port. This amendment follows the previous modification made by Notification No. 93/2005-Customs (NT) on 10th October 2005.
