<h1>Customs Act Update: Revised Tariff Values for Palm Oils and Brass Scrap Announced by the Board, Effective Immediately.</h1> The notification, dated January 16, 2006, issued by the Board under the Customs Act, 1962, amends the previous notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.) by revising the tariff values for specific goods. The revised tariff values per metric tonne are set as follows: Crude Palm Oil at $415, RBD Palm Oil at $430, other Palm Oil at $423, Crude Palmolein at $437, RBD Palmolein at $440, other Palmolein at $439, Crude Soyabean Oil at $492, and Brass Scrap (all grades) at $2151. This amendment reflects the Board's assessment of necessary adjustments in tariff values.
