of <h1>Government Amends Customs Notification 21/2002; Date in Clause (f) Changed to August 1, 2007, for Public Interest.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 21/2002-Customs, originally issued on March 1, 2002, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective December 4, 2006, changes the date in clause (f) of the proviso from '1st day of April, 2007' to '1st day of August, 2007.' This modification is deemed necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was last amended by Notification No. 114/2006-Customs on November 28, 2006.
