of <h1>Customs Exemption for AEW&C System Goods: Aircraft Parts, Radars, Electronics, and More Until 2012</h1> Notification No. 113/2006-Customs, dated 16th November 2006, amends Notification No. 39/96-Customs from 23rd July 1996. It introduces an exemption for certain goods required for the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) System Programme of the Ministry of Defence. The exempted goods include aircraft components, radars, electronic equipment, machinery, and computer hardware/software. These goods must be imported by authorized centers designated by the Ministry of Defence and certified by the Programme Director. The exemption is valid until 1st January 2012.
