<h1>Customs Department sets new foreign currency exchange rates for exports effective 1st November 2005, superseding prior rates.</h1> The notification issued on 26th October 2005 by the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, establishes the exchange rates for converting various foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for exported goods, effective from 1st November 2005. The rates are specified for different currencies, including the Australian Dollar at 33.60 INR, Canadian Dollar at 37.80 INR, Euro at 53.75 INR, and US Dollar at 44.95 INR, among others. Additionally, the rate for 100 units of Japanese Yen is set at 38.85 INR. This supersedes the previous notification dated 27th September 2005.
