of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification Modifies Jurisdiction for Serial No. 8 to Include Tuticorin Port and Designated Areas.</h1> Notification No. 45/2005-NT-Customs, dated June 6, 2005, amends Notification No. 15/2002-Customs (N.T.) from March 7, 2002. The amendment, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs under the Customs Act, 1962, modifies the entry in the table for serial number 8. It now specifies the jurisdiction as the Port of Tuticorin, the revenue district of Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu, and designated areas in India's Continental Shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone. The principal notification was previously amended on January 5, 2004.
