<h1>Government Updates Currency Exchange Rates Effective June 2005, Supersedes Previous Notification /2005-NT-Customs</h1> Notification No. 41/2005-NT-Customs, dated 26th May 2005, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, sets the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees effective from 1st June 2005. This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 34/2005-NT-Customs. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists the rate for one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 43.70 INR and the Euro at 55.05 INR. Schedule II specifies the rate for 100 units of the Japanese Yen at 40.75 INR.
