<h1>Ministry of Finance Revises Currency Exchange Rates for Export Goods Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective March 1, 2005.</h1> Notification No.18/2005-NT-Customs, dated 23rd February 2005, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, revises the exchange rates for export goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from 1st March 2005, the rates for converting foreign currencies to Indian rupees are specified. For example, one Australian Dollar is set at 34.40 INR, one US Dollar at 43.60 INR, and 100 Japanese Yen at 41.45 INR. This notification supersedes the previous notification No.10/2005-NT-Customs, dated 25th January 2005.
