Teck Industrial Corporation and Others</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication) at New Customs House, Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi, as the special adjudicator under the Customs Act, 1962. This appointment authorizes the Commissioner to act as the Commissioner of Customs in Chennai and Kandla, and as the Commissioner of Central Excise in Faridabad. The purpose is to adjudicate matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to M/s. Teck Industrial Corporation and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, on September 9, 2004.
