<h1>Amended Customs Notification: 10% Duty on Carbon Black Feed Stock, Polyester Chips; Coronary Stents Exempt.</h1> The Central Government has issued amendments to Notification No. 21/2002-Customs, dated March 1, 2002, under the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest. These amendments, effective from March 20, 2006, introduce new entries in the customs tariff table, including a 10% duty on Carbon Black Feed Stock and Polyester chips, while coronary stents and systems are exempted from duty. Additionally, the description for cardiac catheters in List 37 of the Annexure is updated to include guidewires. These changes were published in the Gazette of India and are part of ongoing updates to customs regulations.
