of <h1>Government Rescinds Additional Duty on Computers; Notifications No. 75 and 76/2004-Customs Revoked in Public Interest</h1> Notification No. 9/2006-Customs, dated March 1, 2006, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, rescinds Notifications No. 75 and 76/2004-Customs, dated July 26, 2004. These previous notifications had imposed an Additional Duty of Customs on computers. The rescission is deemed necessary in the public interest, but it does not affect actions taken or omitted under the previous notifications before their rescission.
