of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification Expands Beneficiaries to Include Multiple Petroleum Corporations Effective July 20, 2005</h1> The Central Government has amended notification No. 21/2002-Customs dated March 1, 2002, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective from July 20, 2005, modifies the entry against S.No.73 in the notification's table. The words 'Indian Oil Corporation Limited' are replaced with 'Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and IBP Company Limited.' This change is made in the public interest and is documented under notification No. 71/2005-Customs. The principal notification was initially published on March 1, 2002, and last amended on May 17, 2005.
