<h1>Cochin Port Trust's Proposal to De-notify 4.8035 Hectares from Vallarpadom SEZ Approved by Ministry of Commerce</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has approved a proposal by Cochin Port Trust to de-notify 4.8035 hectares from the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Vallarpadom, located in Mulavukadu/Fort Kochi Village, Ernakulam District, Kerala. Initially notified on November 2, 2006, with an area of 115.25 hectares, the SEZ will now cover 110.4465 hectares. This adjustment was made under the provisions of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006.
