of <h1>India Adjusts Exchange Rate for Japanese Yen: 100 Yen Now 59.60 INR for Imports, 58.00 INR for Exports</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 17/2013-Customs (N.T.) to amend the exchange rate for Japanese Yen as specified in Notification No. 5/2013-Customs (N.T.) dated 17th January 2013. Effective from 31st January 2013, the exchange rate for 100 units of Japanese Yen is set at 59.60 Indian Rupees for imported goods and 58.00 Indian Rupees for export goods. This amendment was made under the authority of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962.
