Supersedes Previous Rates</h1> The Government of India, through the Central Board of Excise and Customs, issued Notification No. 01/2013-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on January 3, 2013, under the Customs Act, 1962. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 111/2012-CUSTOMS (N.T.) and sets the exchange rates for converting various foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and exported goods, effective January 4, 2013. The notification includes detailed exchange rates for currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, and others, applicable to both import and export transactions. Corrections to the Kenya Shilling rate were noted in a subsequent corrigendum.
