of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for RBD Palmolein, Brass Scrap, Poppy Seeds, Gold, and Silver under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) to update the tariff values for certain goods. The revised values include RBD Palmolein at $872 per metric tonne, brass scrap at $4069 per metric tonne, and poppy seeds at $5346 per metric tonne. For gold, the tariff value is set at $550 per 10 grams, and for silver, it is $1062 per kilogram. These changes are made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and are published in the Gazette of India.
