of <h1>India Updates Currency Exchange Rates for Imports/Exports; New Rates Effective November 2, 2012, Supersede Previous Notification.</h1> Notification No. 97/2012-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs, specifies the exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods, effective from November 2, 2012. This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 95/2012. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual foreign currencies, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of Japanese Yen. Corrections were made to the Kenya Shilling rates in a later corrigendum.
