This notification, effective from October 5, 2012, establishes the exchange rates for converting various foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods under Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962. The rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual currencies, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of the Japanese Yen. The notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 84/2012-Customs (N.T.) dated September 20, 2012.
