<h1>Indian Finance Ministry Updates Tariff Values for Edible Oils and Brass Scrap Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The notification, dated 15th September 2004, issued by the Indian Ministry of Finance, amends the previous notification No.36/2001-Cus (N.T.) regarding tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment replaces the existing table with a new one specifying tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne for various edible oils and brass scrap. The updated values are: Crude Palm Oil at $454, RBD Palm Oil at $489, Other Palm Oils at $471, Crude Palmolein at $479, RBD Palmolein at $497, Other Palmoleins at $488, Crude Soyabean Oil at $565, and Brass Scrap at $1495.
