of <h1>Deputy Commissioner of Customs Appointed to Adjudicate 2003 Show Cause Notice for Tiruppur Garment Manufacturer</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Deputy Commissioner of Customs (Export) from Customs House, Tuticorin, to serve as the Deputy Commissioner of Customs at various locations, including Chennai Seaport, Calicut, Tirupur ICD, Mumbai Seaport, Chennai Airport, and Cochin Airport. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a garment manufacturing company in Tiruppur. The notice was originally issued by the Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence, South Zonal Unit, in August 2003. This notification is effective as of June 21, 2004.
