of <h1>Delhi Appoints New VAT Inspector to Assist Commissioner Under Delhi VAT Act, 2004; Effective Upon Charge Assumption.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has appointed an officer to assist the Commissioner of Value Added Tax in the administration of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. This appointment is effective from the date the officer assumes charge. The notification, issued by the Finance (Revenue-1) Department, is in accordance with the powers granted under the Act and related rules. The officer appointed as a Value Added Tax Inspector is listed in the notification, which is authorized by the Deputy Secretary in the name of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
