of <h1>India Amends National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standards; Updates RBI Representative under Companies Act, Section 210A.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, issued an amendment to the notification regarding the National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standards under Section 210A of the Companies Act, 1956. This amendment, dated November 6, 2009, modifies the previous notification S.O.1800(E) from July 21, 2009. Specifically, it replaces the entry 'Nominee of the Reserve Bank of India' with 'Shri P. Vijay Bhaskar, Chief General Manager-in-charge, Reserve Bank of India' in the committee's constitution. The amendment was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary.
