of <h1>Customs Act 1962: Effective Date Change in Notifications 44/2003 to 61/2003 from March to April 2004.</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended several customs notifications originally issued in 2003. The amendments involve changing the effective date in paragraph 2 of each notification from '1st day of March, 2004' to '1st day of April, 2004.' This change applies to notifications numbered 44/2003 to 61/2003, all dated between July 22 and August 1, 2003.
