of <h1>Amendment to Companies (Fees on Applications) Rules: New Sub-rule (2) of Rule 1 Effective August 10, 1999</h1> The Department of Company Affairs, under the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Company Affairs, issued Notification No. GSR 578(E) on August 5, 1999. This notification amends the Companies (Fees on Applications) Rules, 1999, by substituting sub-rule (2) of rule 1. The amendment specifies that the rules will come into force on August 10, 1999. The changes are enacted under the authority granted by section 642(1) and section 637A(2) of the Companies Act, 1956.
