of <h1>Company Law Board Reorganizes Benches Under Section 10E(4B) for Efficient Handling of Companies Act Matters</h1> The Company Law Board, under Section 10E(4B) of the Companies Act, 1956, has reconstituted its benches to exercise and discharge powers effectively. The Principal Bench, comprising the Chairman and selected members, will handle specific sections of the Companies Act and related matters. Regional Benches in New Delhi, Chennai, Calcutta, and Mumbai, with at least two members, will address sections 111, 111A, and 269. Other matters, including interlocutory applications, will be managed by a Single Member at Regional Benches. Benches can convene anywhere in India and may refer cases to the Principal Bench. This order is effective from June 29, 1999.
