of <h1>Government Amends Companies Rules: Form 7BB Now Required for OTCEI Counter Receipt Transfers Under Rule 5A(2A)</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956, specifically substituting sub-rule (2A) of rule 5A. The amendment, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, introduces a new requirement for instruments of transfer related to counter receipts traded by the Over the Counter Exchange of India (OTCEI). These transfers must now be executed using Form 7BB. This change is enacted under the authority granted by specific sections of the Companies Act, 1956.
