of <h1>Central Government Amends Notification No. 43/2003-CUSTOMS (N.T.); Effective Date Changed to April 1, 2004, Under Section 126.</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to the notification No. 43/2003-CUSTOMS (N.T) dated July 22, 2003. This amendment, under Notification No. 25/2004-Customs (N.T.), changes the effective date from March 1, 2004, to April 1, 2004. The amendment is made under the authority of section 126 of the Finance Act, 2002. The original notification and its previous amendment were published in the Gazette of India.
