of <h1>Government Exempts National Fertilisers Ltd. from Certain Companies Act Provisions for Heavy Water Production</h1> The Central Government, under the Companies Act, 1956, has issued a notification stating that the provisions of item (a) of sub-paragraph (i) and sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph 3 of Part II of Schedule VI will not apply to National Fertilisers Ltd., New Delhi. This exemption pertains specifically to the heavy water produced by the company. The notification, identified as GSR 595(E) and dated July 25, 1994, has been presented in draft form before both Houses of Parliament as mandated by the Act.
