of <h1>Companies Act 1956: Firms Registered by March 1998 Must Report Production Patterns to Registrar and Director</h1> The Central Government, under the Companies Act, 1956, mandates that all companies registered up to March 31, 1998, must submit information on their production patterns to their respective Registrar of Companies. This information, to be provided within three months of the notification's publication, should also be sent to the Director of the Research and Statistics Division, Department of Company Affairs, in New Delhi. The notification includes a detailed form for companies to report their production data, categorized according to the Industrial Classification of Joint Stock Companies (1988).
