<h1>Government Delegates Powers to Registrars Under Companies Act 1956, Sections 21, 31, 43A, 108, 572</h1> The Central Government, under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 637 of the Companies Act, 1956, delegates certain powers and functions to the Registrars of Companies. These delegated powers include those under Section 21, Sub-section (1) of Section 31, Sub-section (4) of Section 43A, Sub-section (1D) of Section 108, and Section 572 of the Act. This delegation is formalized through Notification No. GSR 507(E), dated June 24, 1985, and subsequently amended by GSR 281(E) on March 21, 1995.
